Another clipper system moved across the region during the evening hours on January 28 through the early morning hours on January 30, 2025. Moderate to locally heavy snowfall occurred across much of the Mohawk Valley and Adirondacks where snowfall totals between 5 and 12 inches occurred. Lesser snow accumulations fell elsewhere. Strong winds developed once again on January 29 with widespread gusts between 40 and 55 mph. In addition, snow showers and localized snow squalls led to brief whiteout conditions, moderate to heavy snowfall rates and gusty winds.
