A narrow waterspout was observed by the public about 4 miles south-southwest of Boca Chica Key.
Wider weather episode
A narrow convective boundary marking the nocturnal Cuba landbreeze boundary moved northward, passing through the Lower Florida Keys with scattered convective rain showers. A few waterspouts were observed near the Lower Florida Keys as the convective boundary moved northward from the Straits of Florida into the Gulf waters north of Key West.
