A waterspout was observed south of Big Pine Key by an observer on the Seven Mile Bridge. The waterspout was narrow and no spray ring was visible.
Wider weather episode
A narrow convective boundary marking the nocturnal Cuba landbreeze boundary moved northward, passing through the Lower Florida Keys with scattered convective rain showers. A few waterspouts were observed near the Lower Florida Keys as the convective boundary moved northward from the Straits of Florida into the Gulf waters north of Key West.
