Wind gusts to near 60 mph caused minor damage across the county. A downed tree was reported blocking part of Route VV near Berger. A roof was severely damaged in Sullivan.

Wider weather episode

A strong storm system developing across the region led to strong southeasterly winds. While severe thunderstorms also developed during the evening, these strong winds occurred in advance of the thunderstorms during the afternoon. Reports of minor damage to trees and structures were received across the region.
