Generally 5 to 12 inches of snow fell across the area with locally higher amounts up to 13.6 inches at Whiskey Park. Peak wind gusts up to 30 mph occurred at Storm Peak Lab, staying under 45 mph.

Wider weather episode

Some remnant Pacific moisture moved across northwest Colorado driven by an upper level jet streak as a cold front dropped southward out of Wyoming and stalled across northwest Colorado. This resulted in moderate snowfall across the Elkhead and Park Mountains due to limited dynamics and favored orographic lift. This also limited the snowfall across other mountain ranges to light accumulations due to the quick residence time of limited moisture with the dynamic forcing.
