The Weatherflow sensor at Shutes Folly measured wind gusts of at least 34 knots between 1053 AM to 1058 AM with a peak wind gust of 44 knots at 1058 AM.
The wider storm
A strong cold front pushing through the region during late morning hours helped produce a line of showers with embedded thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind gusts across coastal waters.
