Snowfall ranged from 2.5 to 5 inches across Amelia county. A public report of 5 inches was received from 2 ENE of Truxillo as well as two 4.5 inch reports from the Scott's Fork area.

The second winter storm to impact the region in less than a week. Widespread snow totals of 3-5 inches occurred during the overnight period of Jan 10 to 11 from the Piedmont near Chase City and Farmville eastward through the southern Richmond Metro and Williamsburg and into the Virginia Eastern Shore.
