Snowfall ranged from 2 to 4 inches across Isle of Wight county. Snowfall was highest across the western and southern portions of the county. A report of 3.5 inches was received just west of the county near Franklin. Snow changed to a wintry mix and freezing rain likely occurred but no specific freezing rain totals were reported.

Wider weather episode

The second winter storm to impact the region in less than a week. Widespread snow totals of 3-5 inches occurred during the overnight period of Jan 10 to 11 from the Piedmont near Chase City and Farmville eastward through the southern Richmond Metro and Williamsburg and into the Virginia Eastern Shore.
