An amateur radio operator reported power lines down near the intersection of Clito Road and 5 Chop Road. There was a power outage in this area, impacting about 1,200 homes.

Wider weather episode

A band of strong showers and thunderstorms developed in advance of an approaching cold front. These showers and thunderstorms moved across southeast Georgia and produced damaging wind gusts and hail.
