Event narrative

McIntosh County Emergency Management reported several trees snapped along Mission Drive, including two homes that were damaged by fallen trees. Also, several trees were reported down along Tolomato Causeway as well.

Wider weather episode

A band of strong showers and thunderstorms developed in advance of an approaching cold front. These showers and thunderstorms moved across southeast Georgia and produced damaging wind gusts and hail.
