The Weatherflow site on Plum Island near Charleston measured a 34 knot wind gust.

A strong line of thunderstorms developed well in advance of an approaching cold front and moved across southeast Georgia and southeast South Carolina. The line of storms produced strong wind gusts along the coast and across the Atlantic coastal waters.
