Light freezing rain led to a glaze of ice on vehicles and tree limbs in Geronimo. Several traffic accidents were reported on bridges on I-10 in Seguin. The ASOS at the New Braunfels National Airport reported 0.11 of ice.

The wider storm

An area of low pressure over the Gulf moved northward along the Texas coast. This generated isentropic lift over cold air in place across South-Central Texas. Light freezing rain led to mostly a glaze of ice on elevated surfaces. A few places received a few hundredths of an inch of ice and there was one report of 0.11'.
