An area of low pressure over the Gulf moved northward along the Texas coast. This generated isentropic lift over cold air in place across South-Central Texas. Light freezing rain led to mostly a glaze of ice on elevated surfaces. A few places received a few hundredths of an inch of ice and there was one report of 0.11'.
