A public report of 7 inches of snow in Sharon Springs. Additional reports of 6 inches of snow in Sharon Springs was reported by the public and the Emergency Manager along with another report of 6 inches 11 NNW of Weskan. A Cocorahs report of 4 inches was also received 10 S Sharon Springs.

Wider weather episode

Heavy snow developed across most of northwest Kansas during the evening on the 11th and continued through the morning on the 12th. The highest snowfall amounts occurred in Wallace county where the public and emergency manager reported 6-7 inches of snowfall in the town of Sharon Springs. Another 6.5 inch snow report occurred 7 NNE Ludell as well.
