The followed Local Storm Reports were observed near the boarder of the forecast zone at a lower elevation: 6 in snow at Ilwaco 2/4 10 am, 6 in snow at Naselle 2/4 0830 AM, LSR, and 5 in snow near Oceanside 2/4 12pm. These combined with the Saddle Mountain SNOTEL at 3090ft recording 6 inches of snowfall between 0500 02/05 and 1700 02/05 would indicate snowfall meeting warning criteria very likely occurred.

Wider weather episode

A deep upper-level trough held over the far eastern Pacific leading to near sea-level snowfall. Heavier shower bands facilitated pockets of warning-level snowfall through this period.
