D2 Severe Drought conditions persisted across much of northern Itasca County through the month of February. Only the far northeastern part of the county was not included in the area of D2 Severe Drought. No changes in the drought categories were observed over the course of the month. Precipitation for February was near normal.

D2 Severe Drought conditions persisted across parts of central St. Louis, northern Itasca, Cass and Crow Wing counties during February. No changes in D2 Severe Drought were observed over the course of the month. Precipitation for February was generally near normal to slightly above normal in areas where D2 Severe Drought persisted.
