A member of the public in Woodburn reported 3 inches of storm total snowfall, measured 0750 2/14, with the ASOS KSLE measuring 0.15 inches of freezing rain accumulation at 1000 2/14. A number of LSRs showed a range of 0.1-0.15 of ice accumulation with generally 1-3 inches of snowfall across the forecast zone.
Wider weather episode
Abnormally cold conditions were in place early on February 13th as widespread precipitation increased across the region south to north due to the arrival of a warm-frontal boundary. This overrunning scenario led to a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain impacting much of western Oregon through February 14th.
