There were multiple crashes involving up to 20 vehicles from slippery road conditions which resulted in closure of N.E. 238th Drive is between N.E. Treehill Drive and N.E. Glisan Street. Reported by the Multnomah Co. Sheriff's Office at 12:56 PM on Thu, Feb 13, 2025. Also a Cocorahs observer reported 3 inches of snowfall measured 800 2/14 with LSR reports of trace amounts of freezing rain as well.

Wider weather episode

Abnormally cold conditions were in place early on February 13th as widespread precipitation increased across the region south to north due to the arrival of a warm-frontal boundary. This overrunning scenario led to a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain impacting much of western Oregon through February 14th.
