A trained spotter measured 4 inches of snowfall in Sandy at 0700 2/14 with LSRs indicating a range of generally 2-4 inches of snowfall measured throughout the event.

Abnormally cold conditions were in place early on February 13th as widespread precipitation increased across the region south to north due to the arrival of a warm-frontal boundary. This overrunning scenario led to a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain impacting much of western Oregon through February 14th.
