Local Storm Reports showed trace amounts of ice accumulation in addition to 2-3.5 inches of snowfall throughout this event. A maximum of 3.5 inches of snowfall was measured 2 miles WSW of Warren by a trained weather spotter at 0839 02/14.
Wider weather episode
Abnormally cold conditions were in place early on February 13th as widespread precipitation increased across the region south to north due to the arrival of a warm-frontal boundary. This overrunning scenario led to a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain impacting much of western Oregon through February 14th.
