A few thunderstorms developed in the hours around sunrise the morning of the 14th behind a northward lifting warm front. The storms were generally sub severe, but with the cool temperatures aloft, were able to produce hail. One storm produced quarter-sized hail as it moved through northeastern Bayfield County.
