Morning snow followed by afternoon and evening snow bands led to light snow accumulations across Sullivan. Social media reports included 2.5 inches of snow and 3 inches of snow near South Holston Dam, and 1.5 inches of snow in Bristol.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front ushered in an initial burst of snow on the backside of the front, followed by several hours of highly banded northwest flow snow showers. The heaviest accumulations occurred at significant elevations.
