A wintry mix of freezing rain and some sleet occurred. Trace amounts of sleet were reported in several locations. The greatest freezing rain measurement received was 0.21 from the South Jersey Regional Airport.
The wider storm
A winter system brought widespread freezing rain, sleet, and some snow to much of the region. Precipitation began the afternoon to evening of the 8th and continued through early in the morning of the 9th.
