A wintry mix of freezing rain and some sleet occurred. Trace amounts of sleet were reported in several locations, including 0.1 of accumulation in Estell Manor. The greatest freezing rain measurement was 0.11 at the Atlantic City International Airport.

Wider weather episode

A winter system brought widespread freezing rain, sleet, and some snow to much of the region. Precipitation began the afternoon to evening of the 8th and continued through early in the morning of the 9th.
