A wintry mix of freezing rain and some sleet occurred. Trace amounts of sleet were reported in several locations nearby. A light glaze of freezing rain likely occurred based on surrounding reports and temperatures at precipitation onset.

Wider weather episode

A winter system brought widespread freezing rain, sleet, and some snow to much of the region. Precipitation began the afternoon to evening of the 8th and continued through early in the morning of the 9th.
