A wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain occurred. Trace amounts of sleet were reported nearby, including Penn Wynne and Willow Grove. The greatest freezing rain measurement was 0.20 in King of Prussia.

Wider weather episode

A winter system brought widespread freezing rain, sleet, and some snow to much of the region. Precipitation began the evening of the 8th and continued through early in the morning of the 9th.
