Snowfall reports across the county were sparse but generally ranged from 3 to 5 inches. A CoCoRaHS report of 5 inches of snow was received from 1 WSW of Windsor, NC.

Wider weather episode

A significant winter storm occurred over the Mid-Atlantic February 19-20 2025. Arctic 1050mb high pressure built into the area early on the 19th. Two mid level disturbances began to phase over eastern North Carolina with periods of heavy snowfall featuring 1 to 2 inch per hour snowfall rates. Very cold temperatures resulted in mostly snow across the region, though some sleet did mix in near the Albemarle Sound. Snow totals ranged from around 5 inches for areas west of Interstate 95 to 14 inches in Currituck County.
