Event narrative

A wintry mix of freezing rain, snow, and sleet occurred. A light glaze of ice was reported. Snow and sleet amounts around 1-2 were reported. No freezing rain measurements were received, however the Pottstown Limerick Airport nearby reported a trace of freezing rain. A CoCoRaHS observer also report freezing rain. The greatest snow and sleet total was 1.8 in West Caln Twp.

Wider weather episode

A storm system brought widespread wintry mixed precipitation to portions of the region, including light snow and sleet accumulations and light to moderate icing to portions of eastern Pennsylvania.
