Widespread 8 to 12 inches of snow in 24 hours plus winds over 40 mph. Some locations reported over 18 inches of snow from this event.

The wider storm

Winds and snow resulted in a significant snow storm across portions of west Michigan from January 21-23. Travel impacts and closures were noted, especially in Mason, Oceana, Lake, Newaygo, Muskegon and Ottawa Counties.
