Periods of snow moved across northern Illinois from the late evening of February 11th through the late evening of February 12th. Most locations received 2 to 4 inches of snow but there was a band of heavier snow across far northern Illinois, near the Wisconsin state line, where 4 to 6 inches of snow fell. Rockford Airport reported 4.9 inches of snow and O'Hare Airport reported 4.2 inches of snow.
