GLOS Weather Station GRMM4 Grand Marais measured storm force gusts throughout the event, with a peak gust of 62 mph reported at 5:30 PM on the 6th.

A low pressure passing through northern Ontario drove storm force gusts out of the northwest in the wake of the system across Lake Superior.

Began near Grand Marais Light (46.6800, -85.9700).
