A complex winter storm impacted northwest Connecticut between February 15th and 16th, 2025 bringing snow, freezing rain, and strong winds. Snow accumulations ranged from about 3 to 4 inches across Litchfield County with flat ice accreting up to 0.3 to 0.35 inches. By the event's conclusion, the total liquid equivalent across Litchfield County ranged from nearly 1.25 to 1.5 inches.
