Public caller reported lots of hail falling down with the largest being ping pong ball sized.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms moved across northeast Nebraska during the evening. One storm reached severe strength as it tracked through Knox and Cedar Counties, producing hail up to 1.5 inches in diameter. Additionally, measured wind gusts of 59 and 63 mph were reported near Neligh, NE'likely associated with the evaporation of anvil precipitation, which helped mix down strong winds from the low-level jet.
