AWOS station K19S 1 NE Sublette. Recorded a wind gusts of 60 mph and a sustained wind speed was 45 mph. Around that time, a public photo of property damage to a nearby library.

Wider weather episode

A strengthening and deepening mid-latitude cyclone moved into and across the forecast area. Two distinct vorticity maximums were placed over the forecast area as strong cyclogenesis unfolded bringing very strong winds across the entire forecast area including multiple measurements of >70mph with the entire area in a high wind warning.
