Event narrative

The KEEO ASOS at Meeker Airport recorded an approximately 1 hour period where visibility was reduced due to fog. Visibilities were a quarter mile or less for only about 20 minutes, but were below 1 mile for the full period. That said, this dense fog was localized to the Meeker area, and therefore this was not a missed Dense Fog Advisory. No reports of injuries, damages, or fatalities were received.

Wider weather episode

In the wake of a storm that brought fresh snow to the Northwest Colorado Valleys, skies began to clear. As temperatures dropped, dense fog began to develop in and around Meeker.
