At least two crashes involving injuries were reported by the Montana Department of Justice crash webpage: one near Clinton and another near Seeley Lake. Snowfall was light, with only 1 to 2 inches reported by observers, but breezy north to east winds between 10 and 20 mph caused blowing snow and reduced visibility, making the morning commute slower than usual.
The wider storm
A surface low tracked across southern Idaho, bringing periods of moderate to heavy snow to Ravalli County and areas eastward to the Continental Divide.
