Immediately on the heels of a complex winter storm that impacted northwest Connecticut on February 15-16th, 2025, strong winds and bitter cold broke out across Litchfield County. Strongest wind gusts ranged from around 40 mph to 45 mph. The cold airmass inflicted across Litchfield County on the departing side of the storm of the days prior led to wind chill values anywhere from -1 to -5.
