A driver lost control of their vehicle on snow-covered roads, crossing the center line and collided with an oncoming SUV. Six people were initially injured, but one passed away from their injuries on the 24th.

Wind and snow-covered roads were factors in a two vehicle crash that occurred around 5:30pm on the 8th on Route 8 in Paris, NY. A driver lost control of their vehicle on snow-covered roads, crossing the center line and collided with an oncoming SUV. A fresh round of light snow had fallen during the early morning hours and winds were gusting on average 25 to 35 mph throughout the day leading to blowing and drifting snow. One passenger died from their injuries 16 days after the crash, while five others were treated for injuries at a local hospital.
