Several CoCoRaHS stations reported 2-4 inches of snow across the region, with higher amounts in the foothills of the Boise Mountains.

Wider weather episode

A deep upper level low moved into the region, bringing cold temperatures and subtropical moisture to the region. This allowed for ample snowfall to fall over the region, creating transportation impacts across southwest Idaho.
