Heavy snow and strong winds caused extensive travel problems. Winds gusted 40 to 50 mph. Idaho 47 closed from Ashton to Bear Gulch and estimated SNOTEL snow amounts ranged from 6 to 9 inches at Crab Creek, White Elephant and Island Park.
