Whiteout conditions and 2 foot snow drifts were reported on Idaho 32 between Ashton and Drummond by 1130 AM. The road then closed at 1230 PM from Ashton to Tetonia due to the snow and blowing and drifting snow. Idaho 47 also closed from Ashton to Bear Gulch. Idaho 33 closed from Newdale to Tetonia as well. Snow amounts ranged from 2 to 5 inches with wind gusts 45 to 65 mph widespread.

A powerful winter storm brought a combination of heavy snow and very strong winds which caused road closures in eastern Idaho.
