A significant winter storm impacted the Gulf Coast region with record breaking snow with totals as high as 5 to 10 inches. As a low pressure system moved across the northern Gulf, a swath of heavy snow fell over the region. Across the Jackson forecast area, accumulations occurred along and south of the highway 84 corridor across portions of Louisiana.
