Trained spotter 12 SSE of Boulder reports 6 inches new snow over 48 hours. The public also reported 6 inches new snow on the NE side of Pony (Barely in this zone).

Wider weather episode

Several waves ejecting from an upper level low near the Pacific NW coast resulted in periods of snow at times, with cold air filtering in from Canada resulting in extreme cold in northern areas. Overall the snow event fell short of expectations, but there were still a few locations that saw heavy snow.
