Emergency manager reported that a tree fell on gas line resulting in a brief gas leak.
Wider weather episode
A deep negatively tilted trough ejected into the central plains bringing a high wind event due to the sharp pressure gradient. Multiple reports of 70+ mph gusts were recorded and blowing dust reduced visibilities to below 1/4 miles in some areas.
