Wider weather episode

As a strong low pressure system crossed through the eastern half of the country on March 16th, clusters of showers and thunderstorms advanced into the Ohio Valley. These storms arrived into southeast Ohio during the late morning hours on the 16th and quickly progressed out of the state a few hours later. Damaging wind gusts embedded within these stronger storms led to downed trees and power lines in Vinton and Morgan Counties that morning.
