Three to five inches fell across the area, highest a bit north of New Florence and the county line.

Low pressure tracked across southern West Virginia and Virginia on the 19th, before riding up the Atlantic Coast into the Canadian Maritimes on the 20th. The Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania were first hit with frontogenetically-enhanced snow on the 19th, leading to quick accumulation, and then to upslope snow showers in northwest flow behind the system into the 20th. In general, six to ten inches of snow accumulated in the higher elevation. Elsewhere, 1 to 3 inch totals were common, although areas that were affected by lake-effect snow bands saw totals in the 3 to 5 inch range.
