Event narrative
A tree was reported down on Route 619 in the vicinity of Flannigan Mill Road just west of the Hanover/New Kent county line.
Wider weather episode
A deep trough over the Midwest and surface low near the Great Lakes brought a robust cold front into the Mid Atlantic region. A strongly-forced area of linear convection moved from west to east across portions of central into eastern Virginia. These storms mostly produced strong to severe straight line wind gusts but one waterspout moved ashore from the York River into Gloucester county, causing EF0 damage.
