Event narrative

Numerous trees were downed south of Natural Bridge, mainly between Highway 13 and Highway 5, including around Lynn. This resulted in power outages in the Lynn area.

Wider weather episode

A few supercell thunderstorms moved eastward from Mississippi across western Central Alabama, producing instances of wind damage and quarter-size hail across Marion, Winston, Fayette, and Greene counties. Meanwhile, a cell cluster moved northeastward from near Andalusia into Pike County, with the main cell producing up to golf ball-size hail near Hamilton Crossroads before dissipating in Barbour County.
