Thunderstorm winds snapped several large tree limbs in Centralia.

During the morning of April 29th, discrete thunderstorms developed in an unstable air mass ahead of a cold front. One of these thunderstorms intensified as it crossed the Mississippi River. This thunderstorm went on to produce severe winds causing damage in Washington and Marion counties.
