Mesonet station MTH03 1.7 S Mammoth Mountain (MAMMOTH), Mesonet station MTH05 0.6 SW Mammoth Mountain (MAMMOTH), Mesonet station SE410 0.7 NW Twin Lakes (SCE), Mesonet station SE384 2.9 SW Crowley Lake (SCE), and Mesonet station LIB05 3.7 SE Topaz Lake (LIBERTY), reported wind gusts peaking at 107mph, 79 mph, 50 mph, 46 mph, and 46 mph, respectively.

Wider weather episode

This was the strongest storm of the month bringing significant snow totals to the Sierra, including Sierra communities, along with lighter rain into western Nevada. Snow totals in the High Sierra were over 2 feet in several areas. High winds were the greatest impact for western Nevada. Strong winds accompanied the storm as well.
